Christian Bruch is Executive Vice President Linde plc and CEO of Linde Engineering.
Between 2015 and 2018, Dr Bruch served on the Executive Board of Linde AG. He was responsible for the Engineering Division and the Corporate Function Technology & Innovation and thus also for Digitalization.
In 2013, he was named to the Board of Directors of the Linde Engineering Division.
Christian Bruch moved from Linde’s Gases Division to the Engineering Division in 2009, after being appointed as a General Manager of the Air Separation Plants product line.
In 2004, Christian Bruch joined the Tonnage business at Linde’s Gases Division. In 2005, he became head of Tonnage Business Development Airgases. In 2006 he became the Head of Tonnage Business Development for air separation projects in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Prior to joining Linde, Christian Bruch worked for the electric utility company RWE in 2000. There he ultimately assumed the role of Head of Research and Project Development at RWE Fuel Cells GmbH.
Christian Bruch graduated from the University of Hannover with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He completed a PhD in Thermodynamics at the Swiss Institute of Technology (ETH) Zurich and, in 1997, commenced work as Project Manager Research at the ETH.
